Physician-led evaluation for Virginia medical cannabis certification. Simple, legal, and guided — completed entirely via secure telehealth.
Virginia law only
Certifications are issued under Virginia's medical cannabis program. Patients must be Virginia residents and physically present in Virginia during the telehealth visit.
Standalone service
This evaluation can be booked independently — no existing relationship with Welmivia required. Booking a cannabis evaluation does not establish continued psychiatric care.
Annual renewals available
Virginia certifications are valid for one year. Existing cannabis patients can book a renewal evaluation at a reduced fee. Select the appropriate appointment type below.
How it works

Book your evaluation
Select an available time below. New patients choose "Medical Cannabis Evaluation." Returning patients choose "Cannabis Renewal."

Complete intake
You'll receive a link to complete a brief intake form before your appointment. Have your Virginia ID and any relevant medical records available.

Physician evaluation
Dr. Diaz reviews your history and qualifying condition via secure telehealth. If eligible, your certification is issued through the Virginia Board of Pharmacy registry.

Purchase from a dispensary
Once registered in the state system, you may purchase cannabis from any licensed Virginia dispensary. Welmivia does not sell or dispense cannabis products.
