Who we see, and who we can't

We see

Adults in Virginia and Florida with Original Medicare Part B, with or without a Medigap supplement.

We can't see

Medicare Advantage plans, Medicaid (including Medicare plus Medicaid), commercial insurance, patients under 18, or patients located outside Virginia and Florida at the time of the visit.

Original Medicare is the red, white, and blue card. A card with an insurance company's name on it is usually an Advantage plan.

Florida patients: we do not prescribe controlled medications, including stimulants, for patients located in Florida at this time.

What it costs

Welmivia bills Original Medicare directly as a participating practice. There is no membership fee and no cash pay on this line.

What you may owe: the Medicare Part B deductible ($283 in 2026) and 20% coinsurance for each visit. If you have a Medigap supplement, it usually covers the 20%.

Not using Medicare?

Private patients in Virginia and Florida are seen out of network, paid per visit, with a superbill after each visit. Your plan decides any reimbursement.

Private booking

Welmivia Access is a service of Welmivia. Dr. Diaz is licensed in Virginia and registered to provide telehealth in Florida. Welmivia Medical is enrolled in Medicare Part B as a participating practice. Medicare scheduling is open. Medicare Advantage plans are not accepted.

Do you take Medicare?

Yes. Welmivia Access bills Original Medicare Part B directly for adults in Virginia and Florida. We are a participating Medicare practice.

Do you take Medicare Advantage?

No. We are not able to bill Medicare Advantage plans, Medicaid, or commercial insurance. If your card has an insurance company's name on it, call the member services number on the back for in-network options.

What will I pay?

The Part B deductible ($283 in 2026) and 20% coinsurance per visit. A Medigap supplement usually covers the 20%. No membership fee.

When can I be seen?

We are scheduling now. Book online or call, and we will confirm your coverage before your first visit.

Do I need a referral?

No. You can book yourself. If your doctor wants to refer you, they can fax 434-404-4624.

Do you order labs?

When needed, Dr. Diaz sends lab orders to Quest, and you work with Quest directly for the draw and any lab billing.

Is the visit really by video?

Yes. You need a phone, tablet, or computer with a camera. If a family member helps you get set up, that is fine.

Is this for emergencies?

No. Welmivia is not a crisis service. In an emergency, call 911 or 988.
