Labs ordered by Dr. Diaz: what they cost when you pay yourself.
When labs are part of your plan, Dr. Diaz orders them from Quest Diagnostics. If you have insurance, the order is sent to Quest to be billed to your plan. If you are uninsured, or you would rather pay cash, the order goes through Fullscript instead: you pay Fullscript online at checkout, before the blood draw, at the cash prices below, and no claim is filed. These are the prices Welmivia's Fullscript catalog showed on October 1, 2026.
Every lab result is reviewed by Sonia Mia Diaz, MD before it is released to you. Self-pay prices are set and billed by Fullscript and can change; Fullscript shows the final price before you pay.
Two ways to pay for labs
Through your insurance
If you are insured, including Welmivia Access patients on Original Medicare, Dr. Diaz sends the order to Quest and Quest bills your plan. What you owe depends on your plan's lab coverage, deductible and copays, and Quest bills you for any balance. The prices on this page do not apply.
Self-pay through Fullscript
For patients without insurance, or anyone who would rather pay cash for a given order. Dr. Diaz sends the order through Fullscript, you pay the cash price online before the draw, and no claim is filed. Fullscript can give you an itemized receipt for an HSA or FSA. Tell Dr. Diaz at the visit which way you want it handled.
How self-pay labs work
- Dr. Diaz orders the labs at your visit and sends the order through Fullscript. You get a Fullscript email with the order and the price.
- You pay Fullscript online. The cash price listed here, paid by card at checkout. Fullscript can give you an itemized receipt for an HSA or FSA, or to submit to your plan yourself.
- Blood draw at Quest. Bring a photo ID to any Quest Diagnostics patient service center; most take walk-ins. Most panels below need fasting (no food for 8 to 12 hours, water is fine).
- Results reviewed first. Dr. Diaz reviews the results before they are released to your portal and goes over them with you at a follow-up visit, billed per visit (see all fees).

Self-pay prices. Each panel is a bundle of Quest tests priced at the sum of its parts, with nothing added by Welmivia. The Fullscript name is shown so you can match it at checkout. Which panel, if any, is a clinical decision made at your visit.

Comprehensive metabolic panel, hemoglobin A1c, lipid panel, fasting insulin. Repeated during treatment for weight or metabolic side effects.
Sexual function and hormones
Sexual function workup
Testosterone (free, bioavailable and total), estradiol, prolactin, thyroid panel with TSH, hemoglobin A1c, glucose, lipid panel.
Sexual function add-on, women
FSH and LH, progesterone, DHEA-S. Added to the workup when the history calls for it.
Sexual function add-on, men
FSH and LH, PSA, CBC with differential, comprehensive metabolic panel.
Hormonal review, women
Estradiol, FSH and LH, progesterone, testosterone (free, bioavailable and total), DHEA-S, prolactin, CBC with differential, lipid panel, comprehensive metabolic panel.

Self-pay prices for tests Dr. Diaz often orders on their own, at Fullscript's Quest cash price. Medication levels are ordered when a dose change or a symptom calls for one.

A few tests, such as urine drug screens and carbamazepine levels, are not in the Fullscript catalog and are ordered another way; you are told the price before any order is placed.
Questions patients ask
Do you bill my insurance for labs?
If you are insured and want it that way, yes: Dr. Diaz sends the order to Quest, Quest bills your plan, and you pay whatever your plan leaves to you. Self-pay through Fullscript files no claim; you pay Fullscript's cash price, which is often lower than a billed charge, and can ask Fullscript for an itemized receipt for an HSA or FSA.
Can I order these panels without a visit?
Not these. Panels ordered by Dr. Diaz are part of your care and need a visit. If you want baseline labs on your own, the Lab Journeys on the supplements and lab testing page can be ordered directly, with Dr. Diaz reviewing the results before they are released.
Where do I get the blood drawn?
Any Quest Diagnostics patient service center. Bring a photo ID; most locations take walk-ins. The order is already in Quest's system when you arrive.
Do I need to fast?
Most of the panels above do: no food for 8 to 12 hours before the draw, water is fine. Your Fullscript order says whether fasting is needed.
How do I get my results?
Dr. Diaz reviews every result before it is released to your patient portal. Results are discussed at a follow-up visit, billed per visit: medication follow-up, 15 minutes, $175; follow-up with psychotherapy, 30 minutes, $275.
What about Welmivia Access patients on Medicare?
Your lab orders go to Quest and are billed to Medicare under Part B. The self-pay prices on this page are an option if you prefer them for a given order, not the default.

Start with a 60-minute evaluation by video. If labs would change the plan, Dr. Diaz orders them at the visit, through your insurance or at the self-pay price you see before you pay.
